Hey, wassup?

I'm working on a large project that involves creating a wide range of mediaeval Persian buildings and structures, from tiny houses to grand palaces and imposing city walls to soaring mosques. Please click on http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=151899 to discover what it's all about and to see if there might be some way you could assist me!

I plan to post various structures on this thread as I create them, but please bear with me! I am only just getting stuck into the design and concept stage, and this project will take many months (if not longer!) to complete.

Feel free to offer any advice and/or criticism. It's all appreciated and I have pretty thick skin... ;)

Peace

Here's a prototype model for a Persian house that I did in Sketchup. This is my first attempt at using the program and I plan to get some more work here soon.

Comments & suggestions welcome!

Nice work, it's looking promising. I like the tower-esque part at the top.

Thanks Missile, appreciate it! The tower-esque part is a wind-catcher found on many old Persian buildings and acts as a basic, yet extremely effective, air conditioning system.

More images coming soon! :)
