character: pinup (mild nudity)

This is my first stab at realism so please be kind.

I enjoy the female form in art as well as old style calendar girl pinups, so I decided to try my hand at it.

This is my first time trying to paint something with any sort of realism to it, most of my stuff is comic book type drawings. This is my first attempt at branching out in a new artistic direction for my portfolio...

Its done in photoshop 7, with a wacom....it is NOT a paint over....but I did use photoref.
6 hours of work start to finish. The original is 300 dpi at 1300x1900

thank you everyone..the above image has been updated with feed back I have recieved on various forums...I'm still working to fix some things and still trying hard to learn this technique.....

I forgot to mention..I did about 1 hour of updates on this piece so approximately 7 hours of work start to finish...
dont know if I'll do anymore, I think I've learned alot from this piece and I'm anxious to try another in this style...
