Hi, folks. Sometimes I feel like I can't throw a rock without hitting a forum these days, but overall that's a good thing. ;) Anyway, Toothless asked for help on some concept art for his project, this is my first stab at it, with more to follow,

Here is his thread in "Jobs..." (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=1451) to give you some idea of what he was looking for:

thanks, haiku, I appreciate it :)

The modeller wanted a guy a little "beefier", so I made some alterations:

thoughts? C&C? Ego boosting strokes? All welcome ;)

Looks good.
The next steps I would think about tackeling is a coherent light source and nailing down the perspective. and of course ( iv'e heard this somewhere before )
draw through the form.

Keep on drawing!

Well, i didn't read the story line. I don't think it's neccery for me. Though if the current drawing is suppouse to be the hero, it needs some special characteristic concept. For example; It's a known fact that heros are normally being defined more than other characters in the game. If it's by stronger muscles or a beutfial face. Take those things in note. If you are thier concept artist. :)

About the image - I like the new improved one. The first pic looked like he is a kid. And now you added a few years to him. The only thing i think needs improvement is the face. - I don't know i don't the face much.

It's an overall good job. I want to see more. :)

thanks, haiku, I appreciate it :)

I agree the hero/heroine needs to be distinctive, this a standard guy though, I believe. My faces/heads generally need work...I'll keep on drawing though! :)
