As many of you know, ConceptArt.Org has grown a lot over the years. Because of this, we have to continually upgrade our complex server system and the technology to keep up. I have been working with different sponsors for the events and our site and Wacom has stepped up to the plate to help out this spring. Wacom is giving back to the community in support of our growth and efforts and they have some great stuff coming out which I am stoked about. Since our community is dependent upon Wacom to make all our digital art we agreed they were the perfect fit.

Wacom will be around I am sure. The new Wacom Forum will go up as well as there have been so many technical questions about the tablets and Cintiqs.

So from ConceptArt.Org and all of us here, Thanks WACOM!! Your support means a lot to everyone.

Thats awesome news. Wacom definitely gets my support, they've saved me thousands in paint and sketch supplies already.my tablet has more than paid for itself. I'm also looking forward to seeing this new stuff coming out, i've been hoping for a new, cool art tool to mess with. Please let it be this: worldbuilder (http://www.wimp.com/worldbuilder/)

Awesome, reading this while working on an Intuos3, so I must say, for the majority of people on this site it is a perfect partnership. Thank you Wacom, if this helps to sort of the technical problems the site is having then this is really great news :}

Yeah Miles, we are going to upgrade the servers shortly. We are doing major optimizations now with our programmer and he will have all those online within the next sixty days.

If only photoshop would do the same. Photoshop is by far my program of choice but i can't help but get the notion they could cater to digital art and concept artists a bit more.

At last! A place for the 10,000 "what tablet should I get?" threads!
(And hopefully having a dedicated forum will solve that.)

hey also while we're on the topic of server changes (and because i'm too lazy to whine in the support section about it), can we get the alternate forum skin options back? a server check a few weeks back took the option away, and i rather like the photomob skin as being my default.

The next step is Wacom supporting CA by giving a free cintiq to all CA users. :D

I hear they're going to be much much better actually. They're doing a lot for the next incarnation.
