If I'm informed correctly, they don't have the result of the DNA-analysis yet.
But even if it isn't Saddam, I bet they wouldn't tell us :D

they do, and it's 100% him...at least that's what they're telling us...but after watching the second season of "Alias", who knows who that really is? They could have taken some other guy and messed with his DNA to make us think it was Saddam. I don't think it's him. Why would he just give up like that? It's too easy.
Besides, the guy who blew up the World Trade Center is still out there...when did we stop our efforts looking for him? Freakin' Bush.

Is this a picture a an evil Tyrant or a sad lonely man with a sad and terrible up bringing? Hmm. Reminds me of a troubled child that made many very wrong decisions and was finally caught and now finally feels the shame of what he has done. At least I hope he does...
I naturally cannot help but to sympathize with this sad man. Of course I sympathize more with the terribly victimized.
I would love in my life time to visit their great country. I had done a bit of studying of their culture and have grown a great respect for their heritage. I hope that is not just wishful thinking.

Iraq does have a great history. Mesopotamia, Sumeria and Babylon were located there and it was also where Abraham lived much of his life. Last semester I took a great art history class where we could examine just a small sample of it's historical significance. The elevated ziggurats were a starting point for architectuaral concepts that would be passed on to many other cultures. Also it was in Iraq where Islam and Judaism can be all be traced back to as a starting point.
I did a search on google and found a link that has a few examples. http://hypergraphia.com/art1A/lecture%203.htm
Oh and Saddam should be handed over to the same mob that decapitated his statue and dragged it's head through the streets while slapping it with shoes. I'm sure he'd love to get some constructive criticism from his subjects. For some reason no one called the "how's my dictatin'" number on the back of his car.

huseein has like 5 guards that look exactly like him, this could be anyone, besides that, the media is always wrong about stuff like this, i know the truth because my friend is a marine and just got back from iraq, his group was the first in from kuwait. well obviously not the truth about everything but alot of things i hear from the media then hear from him.

I bet 99% of all forums have a pointless "we got him" thread now, with pictures of saddam's beard. It's not enough they spew it out in the media 24/7, it's everywhere else too.

i just found out that they captured the so called "saddam hussein" , hmm , don't think much of it.
but: he did do many wrongs but he also did alot of rights
like in the seventies he made great improvements in health and education in iraq.
hmmm, wouldn't it be better to just beg for an apocalypse?

This was an unnecessary comment. :bash: You didn't have to check the thread.
I don't agree with your rash negativity. :p

a simple topic about Saddam Hussein being captured and it turns into Bush and USA bashing...
many artists tend to be of a militant antiwar stance anyways so i guess its expected here.

android are u religious? just curious....i dont personally think the world will end in any of our lifetimes nor could a new world order possibly rise up in such a short amount of time, even tho im sure ur joking, i like talkin about stuff like this. but what makes the most sense is this happenes every10 years, we go to war, its the way of the world, we get bored and get involved with another situation such as this, the history is the same as it is now.

re-read your history books....we kept him in power and let him generate those chemical weapons. Not to mention many other things that he was allowed to do without the US lifting a finger.
we all have terrible ways of life......some of us get santa outfits slapped on our image!
This guy should have been taken out long ago if they were going to do it. Personally I think the fact of the matter is that it doesnt matter if we got this guy. Dead he is a martyr and alive he is still as bad. One man in a giant web of terrorist organizations. Much like the Hydra's many heads, cut one off and more replace it. You need to stop the problem at the source. Sure you can put a band-aid on a gaping wound or take an aspirin if you have a tumor but you arent really solving the problem just masking it. And such is America's Foreign Policies. These are acts done to satisfy America's dwindling patriotism.
I love my country, just dont agree with our government.
And to lighten things up i have just farted.
