Hi guys, I just recently started an art-for-charity project, and I'm looking for some more artists to join our operation. The basic idea is that each artist will submit 1 to 2 (old or new) pieces to be printed in a book, which will be available for ordering online. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to a charity (or charities) chosen by the participating artists. While none of the participants will be taking any profits off of the sales, this is a good and easy opportunity to do some charity work with your art.

below is some information about the project, I hope you guys are interested! post questions if you have any!

Project website (lots of info! check it out): http://www.brainsucker.net/artFTW

Theme >> "For You, For Me"

Because everything you give away, will eventually be returned to you.

I picked this theme to sum up the spirit of charity and kindness. It is a very ambiguous blob of a theme, but that's what I was going for, for a few different reasons. I didn't want people to get too bogged down about whether their piece "fits", and I thought it was rather fitting to have a theme of giving and kindness for a charity art book. So. It is what it is. :3

Artist Info >> Application

Application Deadline: March 29th

If you are interested in drawing or writing something for the artbook, please send me a deviantart note (http://neverblue.deviantart.com) or email (amy@brainsucker.net) titled "Art FTW - Artist Application". I prefer deviantart, if you have an account.

Please include the following information:

* first name:
* email:
* what media you will most likely contribute:
* examples of past work (preferable a link to your online portfolio, try to avoid attachments)

ALL artists and writers are welcome! please check out the submission guidelines for details

A Few Things to Know...

-You keep all the rights to the work you submit. The work will only be printed in this book.
-Artist Name and email/website will be printed in the book so people can track you down. (free advertisement! :D)
-You don't have to draw something new for the book, you're more than welcome to submit old works. I know many of you are very busy with school and work, and I'm not interested in making extra obstacles for anyone.

I know there's a lot of skilled artists here. Hope you guys are interested! :3
