Arrggh! I got the DL but i would have preferred the physical artifact (guess i'm old fashioned) Just wanted to say Thanks to you guys for this one. I really enjoyed the fact that there wasn't nearly as much sped up stuff, it really let's us see the pace that's being worked at, with Dan's insights as he works in real time. This is definitely better than overdubbed paraphrased stuff being spoken

This DL provided me with a weeks worth of instruction. Everyday i would rush home from work to camp out on my couch and watch the next segment of the video. This is by far my favorite of the downloads i've purchased so far and thought that of all the ones watched thus far, was the most informative and involved in describing each part of the work process. Dan is very articulate as he narrates and truly an inspiration to watch at work.

And considering that it's something like five hours of instruction, the price is a real steal! Keep 'em coming cuz i'll keep buying them! Cheers!

I got Dan's DVD in the mail last Thursday and have already watched it twice, took 8 pages of notes ( I remember better if I write it down) and have been trying to apply this overload of fantastic knowledge. I got to see Dan work at the Illustration Master Class, but it was hard to see everything I wanted to see as there was so much going on there. So this more than makes up for what I missed. I cannot praise this DVD enough and will suggest it to everyone I can. Worth every penny!

I bought the DL version and have to say it is one of the best oil painting and illustration instructional videos I have watched. Pure inspiration.

Dan you are the man! Thanks for sharing that amazing talent you have and thanks to Massive Black for producing such a great resource.

I actually went out and bought new oil paints to get back to a bit of traditional illustration instead of doing everything in Painter. I had forgotten how fun and addictive using real paint was!

Thanks again guys for teaching this old dog a few new tricks.

I bought this last Monday and just 3 days later it arrived! I've watched almost all of it and it's fantastic. The only thing I wanted more of was some additional footage of Dan playing Joust.

That was a sweet Atari he was rocking.

Dan, if you're into the old games you need to see a movie called, "The King of Kong: Fistful of Quarters"

Again, thank you for some an educational and inspirational DVD.
