Hi everybody,
I've been away from drawing for quite a long time and is now trying to rediscover/reinvent my style, so in this sketchbook I'll be experimenting with that; looking for styles that are both satisfying for myself to work with and that have commercial appeal.
Comments and crits are welcome.

Style indeed. They're all really cool...I'd love to see some more variation. Maybe a little less facial hair.

Hi guys, late night update.
I finally got my hands on a working wacom, a 10 year old Ultrapad-II, but it works, so I'll do more colour work from now on,

Dario, thank you for the compliment. It's my first Painter picture, all digital, including the sketch. I'm posting an old drawing (from 2004?) for you. When I saw your drawing of the house on the cliff I was reminded of it. I thought they could almost fit into the same story. Maybe this is the neighbour? :)

Last drawing is a storyboard drawing. Still searching for a style for that.

I'm playing with the outline for a short film about smoking. Here is a design for the big baddie, Cancer Clown, who is only too happy to enter your lungs, make a whoopee and eat'em up!

I have also been doing quick-sketches of faces. Here's one of the better ones. Definitely need to do more.

Finally a repost of those pirates, whom I had to remove to change the thread thumbnail.

Toza meets Silisáb.
Toza (right) is on a quest of self discovery and seeks guidance from Silisáb (left, who's somewhat of a guru, and despite being a debonair, over-sophisticated lizard is basically a kind soul).
Silisáb feigns indifference to provoke an emotional response from Toza and help him understand his own disposition.

I'm working on an illustration right now which is sorta tight work, so decided to loosen up with some painter sketching. It was great fun. I'll do that more often.
