Hello,
My name is Chris Pope and I am a student at the University of Advancing Technology - http://www.uat.edu. I am assembling a development team (mostly of UAT students) to create a UT2K3/4 (Unreal Tournament) mod this coming fall. The mod, called COR at the moment, is loosely inspired by the transformers toys of the 80's, but is not actually related, so we need some original designs for transforming vehicles. COR is currently in the pre-production phase, where we need to create an art document to accompany the game-design document. If all concepting is finalized this summer, the production-phase will begin late summer.
I have decided to open up several positions, especially concept artists, to non-UAT students; this is a great opportunity to have your concept designs realized in an actual game. If you are a skilled mech/robot/vehicle/character concept artist and have an interest in working on an exciting project with a highly talented and motivated team then I strongly urge you contact me at chrpope@uat.edu. I am recruiting COR team members selectively (almost a year in advance), as this mod will be industry-standard quality so everyone interested (student or otherwise) will be required to show work. If you have any questions about me, the COR team, or the project itself, I would be happy to answer them, and look forward to hearing from you.
