Hello peps!

As I've started visiting a life drawing class since last october I want to show some pictures to show my progress and get advices for improvment, that I realy need.

Here it goes (they should be in chronological order :)

Those are looking pretty good. The proportions could use a little work. It's hard to tell how much preplanning you're doing, but I would suggest working a bit more on that. Try using only triangles at the beginning to get the proportions right. Start with big triangles that cover the whole body, such as from the top of the head to a foot to some other body part. Then make smaller triangles, such as from a shoulder to the hand to something else. Use dark line; it's not a bad thing to show your drawing process. Sorry for the briefness of the explanation. It's probably kind of confusing.

Also ask for advice from the teacher, if there is one. The teachers I've had have provided me with good advice.

Youre doing well , just keep at it and youll get better.I like that you have lots of lines showing that you keep rethinking what youve put down. Try starting with straight lines to estimate proportions and angles and then move on to laying contours across them. That helped me a lot when i figured it out. Just dont be like 90% of my life drawing class that stopped coming after a few weeks.

thank you very much. I will try to plan more on my drawings next time. In fact I've mostly not planed the whole figure before starting to draw, but orientated on the proportins of the parts already drawn.

And another question: I have the anatomy book from Hogart.
I think it's pretty good, but has its borders on the female anatomy. What do you think about this book?

Thanks again. I will post more next week, when anatomy class will be again.
