Hey everyone,
I'm looking for an artist to work with me on preparing a submission package that will be sent out to the reputable independent publishers (Image, Dark Horse, Archaia, IDW, Boom, etc). The submission package would require less than a full issue of art, but if it were to get picked up, I would need the artist to do the full 12 issue miniseries. At that point, the job would become paying (split between us), and monthly art deadlines should be expected.
The project itself is a 12 issue miniseries that I fall into the genre of superhero deconstruction, but in a much darker and more morally grey area than has been done before. Though the story has a protagonist, there is no "good guy" in the story. More detail about the story itself can be given upon request. I'm looking for a talented artist who is serious about breaking into the comics industry, and who is willing to work along with myself as a writer to bring out the best creative vision possible.
I would prefer artists in the NY/Tri-State Area, so that face to face meetings would be possible, but if I am willing to sacrifice these meetings for the best artist possible.
Please email me directly at: greggmeller@gmail.com with any questions or art submissions.
Thanks,
Gregg
