I'm not very happy with it (mainly with the eyes) but I think it's better to try another portrait then spend more time on this one. I think that way I'll learn more.

Looks good. I think you're right on the eye. It looks slightly too high and I think it's a bit smaller on the other one. Not by much though. Still not bad. I like it!

Not a bad painting, the rendering is very good and some of the form. My crit is that the face looks disjointed, to put more graphically place your hand to cover the upper part of the head, just below the nose, and then do the same for the lower part, what you will see is that both parts look differently formed and so don't fit so well, maybe you could try and focus on the fore head and then try the right eye. Hope this helps.
