Warcraft RPG: Alliance & Horde Compendium Illustrations

This week the third book of the Warcraft RPG (http://www.warcraftrpg.com) series is going to be released. The Alliance and Horde Compendium offers a great ensemble of new enhancements and upgrades for the roleplaying game including new races, classes and spells. One major feature is the inclusion of a lot of material from the Warcraft III video game expansion: The Frozen Throne. Again, this book also features direct input and artwork from the Blizzard staff.

Thank you guys for the comments. It's great to hear that you are able to find a compatability with the video games...it was the thing we were definately aiming for when confronted with the task. Samwise and Chris went over all of our stuff and we were also very happy to hear from them that they liked the stuff...it's very gratifying to hear that from artists that have had an influence.

Last time we mailed him, he was at his office. Don't know where you got this from but he has worked at blizzard for over 10 years and still is.

While his art hasn't been featured in any blizz video game manuals since warcraft II and starcraft, he's still indeed heavily involved with creating/directing a lot of the company's projects. But you are able to check out some of his newer art in the Warcraft RPG books...they also contain a lot of info and history of the Warcraft universe :)

Because he's now head of all the writing stuff. He does all the storylines and stuff.

Samwise is head of art.

Metzen had his best stuff in warcraft2 i think. His starcraft stuff was too cluttered for me. He's done a few pieces for warcraft 3 and wold o warcraft.
