I'm not a Painter expert, but after seeing Hyung Tae Kim's artwork, I decided to really give Painter a shot. As you can imagine, the style is extremely similar, because I'm still learning, but anyway, I'm quit proud of it, considering it's my first time using Painter in this way. C&C would be appreaciated, good or bad, doesn't matter, as long as they're constructive.

nice work, though I'm not keen on the big contrast of the dark black pants. maybe if they were a blueish or tan gray closer to the color of the middle part of the shirt.

the only thing I can comment on is the shape of the mouth really. everything else looks great. I'm not too familar with that coloring style so i cant give you any good crits on that other then i think it looks great.

I am also a fan of Hyung's artwork. Although the colouring style is similar, the art style is different. Don't worry about it looking too similar.
It looks realy nice. My only crit is the stripes on his pants. Although it matches his hair, it looks a little off campared to the maroon of his jacket lining.
Otherwise he looks very cool.

Thanks to everyone that responded :) Just so you know, the lining inside the jacket is a samurai kimono pattern that I got off the web, and used photoshop to map it in there.
