I'm thinking of giving her another option. I liked this one pretty much, but as portfolio stuff, I think I might add it...
it's a demon hunter.... the kind you don't wanna run into in the street. hehehe if you are a demon...
Please, do tell your opinions whatever they are. It's been helping a whole lot! :)

This is a great piece, here's my constructive criticism:
I really enjoy the hat and the pants, but the mid-driff/torso/arms could use a little more work. Some more specific critiques would be to create that same sense of light in the abdomen that you have on the hat. This would really pull the image together. The same goes for the blades (which offer tons of opportunity for reflections and lighting) and the hanging drapery from the belt. Actually, I am seeing some sort of overlay technique that could very easily be turned into an elaborate fabric design, which always helps make a piece more interesting. One final note, you might want to look back into the fabric on the character's left artm. The way it is falling does not convince my eye that it is completely three-dimensional like the hat.
This piece has tons of potential to be a very impressive character portrait!

I like the idea and style of this, but I think it needs more detail and more precision on the anatomy. Until I scrolled down to the feet I could not tell if I was looking at the front or the back of the character.
