If anyone doesn't have this yet and wants to learn a lot about oil painting, this download is a must have. I have the dvd, and I'm surprised I haven't worn it out I've watched it so many times. You seriously won't regret your purchase. This is learning at its highest caliber.

Thanks for converting this to a download, amazing video. Barber is extremely helpful and this video truly has inspired me, I will continue to watch it. If you havent bought this shell out the cash, theirs no reason to dely buying it now because you can have it in a matter of minutes. Also if anyone hasnt read Shawn Barbers faq on his site check it out, he wrote alot and its all very helpful. Thanks massive black and shawn barber for this.

hi all, this might seem like a dumb question but:
if i buy + download this as opposed to ordering the dvd, can i legally burn it to a dvd so i can have it on the tv instead of my laptop screen? And does the download come with the extra features as well? thanks in advance :) really interested in this one

1. Yes, you can legally burn it to a DVD as long as it's for your own use. BUT, they're quicktime files, so you'd have to do some work to get into a format that your DVD player can read. If you have an xbox360/ps3 you can set it up to read the files off your computer, which is another option. I know a lot of people are on tight budgets (students, bad economy, etc) but if you'd rather watch it on a TV then it's probably worth investing in the DVD. And I mean investing literally, since it's the type of thing that can yield payoffs in your own career.
2. Yeah, the contents are identical.
