maybe we could discuss a bit what people think that means..

i think its the person thats dreaming is fighting the person thats making his/her bad dreams or nightmares.

i also kinda thought of it like...

creator of nightmares VS creator of pleasnant dreams

of course sometimes your mind drifts when you think to hard :)

i have school still, going to finish my final sculpture at the end of this week. i dont know if joe is done or not yet...

I took it as meaning a boogey man going against the dreamer whose simply not scared of anything. Monsters can enter the dreamers dreams but sort of like the Matrix, they're either aware its a dream and false so they cannot be injured. The character concept for dreamer could be the dreamer's dream self. They could carry protective artifacts such as dream catchers.

I did a bunch of 1 inch silhouettes and this ended up being the design I think I'm going to go with. The bending sticks on his back are going to become more interesting. They're wedged so that these hooks pull on the flesh on his shoulder blades. It's like a mobile Sundance ritual. The ritual was used as a right of passage to meet your spirit. I might put some more body paint on him. I plan on leaving the cloths really plain. I'll do some more pics to show the staff in action. He's out to ruin the Creator of Nightmares shxt.

well, whats cool is i am actually done with that final...
just need to bring it in. saturday morning class in general sucks, but since no one else wanted that class there is only 6 people in it teacher is great and you really learn something and get to ask a lot of questions and they all get answered.

its 3/4 dream 1/4 nightmare :)

just wanted to say i am not dead....

i have been thumbnailing my butt off, but nothing has got me interested yet...

This is a quick update because I'd really like feedback. I know I need to get some more yellow into him. I'm trying to have a red light from above and some blue light coming from the ground and his little orb thing. There's going to be some kind of armor on his leg if you're wondering what that light area is.

Never got feedback. This is as finished as this is going to get. I have 15 lacquer transfers due tommorrow and I don't care to ever work on this image again.
