iconographstudios.com/plague - the page of our site that is not open to the public yet. Now that we have the general layout, we will be adding content by the end of the weekend.
We (Iconograph) are a new studio, putting together materials and projects to gather attention and use as samples to get investors for feature films and games and comics. We have no up-front money - this is all out of our own pockets right now - but everything we produce is planned to get as much attention as possible. Anything done for us will be seen and get credit.
We have finished principle photography on our first sci-fi short (there are a set of other shorts as well - keep checking the main site and it should be up in a few weeks), and are getting into the 3D animation and compositing portion of post. We need (obviously) concept art for a number of ships - transport as well as military - and a couple of buildings.
We are going for more realism in the designs - something the military and commercial companies would actually build and use. We are not looking for excessive greeble and detail - but more from real-world use and shape ("form follows function").
The plan is for a heavy festival circuit, and a significant online presence - getting the trailer up at as many locations as we can. While we're not expecting the attention of "405", we're hoping it will get significant notice.
Anyone who helps us along the way will be cordially invited to join us again for a paycheck next time.
Please send portfolio links to lewf (at) iconographstudios (dot) com and I can send you the complete list and descriptions of what artwork is needed.
Thanks for reading this far! I look forward to seeing your artwork.
