Well, since discovering this site not quite four days ago, it has become the only site in the world for me. I found it right at the right moment for me, despondant about my art and needing some sort of inspiration. The DSG is a godsend of unbelievable proportions.

Here, I humbly offer the first post for my sketchbook. I doodle and sketch in painter nightly now (which arrived via Airborne the same night I found CA - it's a sign I tell ya's!) and also maintain a traditional sketch book. I don't know if I'll be posting stuff daily (other then DSG), but I will try to maintain a schedule of some sort.

Painter - airbrush and watercolor. More, much, much more to come.

Wanted to post these as well. They're older work (done within the past year, except the cow, which was done a couple of years ago). All three graphite.

You have an awesome ability to render very cleanly, and your ideas are out of this world!

Great stuff Oregano, the cow and the dog are my favorites.

My crits on the creature: The teeth looks off, as if they are not correctly aligned with the rest of the head. The bright blue in the mouth looks a bit weird to me, but perhaps it's supposed to be that way? Overall itīs looking like a good start though.

Hey Olsen, thanks for the crits. I agree with you about the teeth - but I think it's the jaw in general. The dude needs some realignment surgery.

When I was doing the coloring, I actually had those baboons with the intense muzzel colorings (red and turquise) in mind.

Thanks for the feedbacks everyone!
