I think I figured painter 8 out ... did this in about 3 hours. It's a painting of my husband. Used a photo to look at because he won't sit still for that long. I'm exhausted now... probly going to go have a drink and pass out :D

For 3 hours, it definently looks good, only thing I would alter, or at least point out, is the over use of shine on the skin. Maybe tone it down a little. Other then that though, nice work.

glad you all like it, the blotchy shinyness is probly because I was going so fast with the airbrush tool, trying to get the skin tone proper enough looking.

Um, Rusty Red... well, I'll say the picture is so good as to be distracting from the text... ...plus there's the BRIGHT red lips...

thanks :) I love shiny things ( that'll be my undoing someday I'm sure :D ) so I had fun trying to make the glasses look right.

It looks really nice, I like the shine on the hair, glasses and lips. The only thing I'd point out is the stray hairs - it looks like you overdid it with those.

looks good, i would suggest trying to make the background less...uh...digital?

i suggest making it alittle more grainy. Very cool though.

I'm definitely going to be going back over the background, it was a bit rushed i think, I was eager to get up from the computer at that point. The stray hairs are ok, his hair has some strange ability to look nicely shiney while in reality being increadibly frizzy.
