Shyman, Inc. is looking for a talented artist(s) for a webcomic project titled ‘The Nibaruu Chronicles’, which has the potential to spill into other media mediums as things progress. This is a great opportunity to join the Shyman Team and work side by side with our top two writers on a fun and original story. Our writers script a whole chapter (that’s an average of 35 comic pages per chapter, folks) each month, so you and our fans will never run dry on material! If you love adventure, excitement, romance, and mystery, then trust me; this is the story for you!

A bit about the company…

Shyman, Inc. is an up and coming web-based company specializing in Entertainment Production and Publishing. With the focus currently on the publication of webcomics, Shyman, Inc. is this generation’s best destination for fellow creators to express their ideas and make their dreams a reality.

‘The Nibaruu Chronicles’ Synopsis:

In a world where nature is rich with hidden magic, a peculiar young man on the run from a ruthless General's insatiable greed discovers an ancient secret hidden in his roots, and defies the world government in order to fulfill his destiny.

Requirements:

• Must be able to update three times a week, and each update denotes one fully colored page (Two updates per week is negotiable, but less is not accepted).
• Must meet all deadlines.
• Must attend the weekly online meetings to discuss the project.
• Must speak proper English and be able to properly convey ideas clearly. (US residency is preferred, but not required).
• Must have a means of immediate/emergency contact (Email is preferred).
• And most importantly, you must enjoy the story and love what you do!

It is our experience that if you are not doing something that you just plain love doing, then your quality of work tends to decline. So, to save everyone a little time, it is best to stop here if the above synopsis does not intrigue you. However, if the synopsis does perk your interest and you have the time to commit to working with us, then we would love to hear from you!

If this is the case, please send us an email at admin@shymaninc.com and include:

• Your name
• Age
• Work experience
• A brief description about yourself
• And either attach your portfolio to the email or provide an address to your online portfolio so that we can view your work.

Cheers!

A few questions:

If this is a web-based company, why does a web search yield no hits?

Why is the 'synopsis' a log line, rather than a synopsis?

With such an emphasis on the English language, why substitute 'plane' for the actual word, 'plain'? (There are several other grammar errors in the post.)

What quality of story and art do you expect to produce when churning out thirty five pages every month?

A fully colored page of decent quality tends to take about two days to produce. What are you offering in exchange for this full time position?

Three pages, pencils to color, IS a lot to ask each week for no money. That's a full time job commitment for... what? Not even a mention of profit sharing or any kind of money down the road?

Shyman, Inc. is this generation’s best destination for fellow creators to express their ideas and make their dreams a reality.
Wow, watch that hyperbole. That is immediately going to set big huge warning flags off in people. Even company's that are often considered the dream jobs of creative professionals aren't making claims like those. A giant like Pixar sounds downright humble next to your claim.

I'd do it for $7000 a month.
