i drew this sentinel, and it came out awesome. unforetunately my scanner sucks and is connected to a computer other than my regular editing one, which uses an LCD screen. im going to link the pic since it came out huge. plz excuse the color and scan quality. i really dont have the time to reconfigure and re-hook up my systems just to scan one pic. it looks A LOT better in real life.

sorry. (http://www.daocplace.com/tng/tng/uploader/uploaded/sentinel.jpg)

oh my god, i just looked at it with my CRT. well, aside from the fact that i should be shot. i guess some opinions would be nice. eventually i'll fix up the scanner or just use someone else's which is connected to a CRT with ps. maybe then it wont look like over blown crap. the tones on the backround are totally off. its just a light gray layout. brings out the sentinel details nicely.

if you've got the time to get the drawing from the page to the screen, you've got enough time in whatever image editing application (even the crappy ones) to resize it so that it isn't ungodly huge. if you can only see less than a quarter of the image at a time (and i'm running 1600x1200), then how is someone supposed to give you any decent feedback on it?

that having been said it's a decent drawing, though for the time you look to have spent on it you could have dug up better reference so as to more accurately portray the sentinel's body structure/eye array. it'd be a good idea to practice your ellipses, or even get an ellipse template or two if you want them to look razor sharp.

hehe yea again, i apologize for the ungodly size of the image. i'm aware the structure isnt even nor is it perfect, but i didnt use any references with it and hey, it was just something i did to dodge the boredom in school.
