Great stuff...great stuff. The machines are excellent, but I especially love the nonchalant look of the pilot.

I like the mech Ghost, the machineguns are brilliant. I deliberately chose a subject that you would be both good in yet give you a challenge. I feel as if the pilot is a little generic though, his design doesn't tell his story enough. I know you've been busy this month, because just by looking at your site i know you are capable of truly making this guy live.

What keyed me in to designing the american pilot was to give him a name, "Tracy Fitzgerald". Suddenly I had this tough skinny irish kid from Boston in my mind and I designed him that way. Also deciding that he was in Patton's north african campaign helped me decide to sunburn his face except where the goggles covered him. You are not just designing a costume, you are telling a story, again something that i know you are fully capable of. BTW if i am sounding condescending I must apologize it's the teacher in me. OK shutting up now. Love the mech.

Thanks Dan ... Just really had too much going on and it is disappointing.

Hawksprey .. Don't I know it .. I tried to push myself by picking someone that could kill. I just had a lame month and didn't push as far as I wanted.

Thanks Carlo, I feel it is a little too generic as well ... I had it planned to have more seasoned vets giving him the evil eye. I wanted a upstart kid that can pilot but doesn't have a lick of common sense, just bravado and skills. Glad you like the mech though. Think it is my first ... I was trying to limit the hi tech nature with using the fact that it basically rolled a lot of the time on the mini tank legs and had a brace third leg to support and stabalize while firing and at rest. Guess some of it worked at least :) Off to try and finish it appropriately ...
