Ever since I started handling some freelance work, I realize my workflow is rather slow. My main issue is that most of my paintings take tons of time to start, and when an idea finally works, I jump to detailing too early too fast. When I did that, my values start to break apart, and the colors are scattered. That is why I decided to practice painting faster and looser, so I can only focus on the big pictures and value groupings, so I won't rely on details.

I open this thread to share with you my progress and hopefully can be inspired by your advices and comments along the way. At the same time, I hope you'd enjoy it. :) Below is the url to my recent work. Hope you enjoy that too.

Welcome to CA. Have a good time and do not be frustrated if the comments come slow at the beginning, though with your skills I really think it won't take too long.
For speedpaints these are very good. Composition and colourwise the first one is great, maybe some colder values in places?
The second one is great, too, thogh there is a lot of dark grey on the right.
Keep posting, I'll be waiting.

Cheers

love the speedpaints! I feel the same exact way as you, those loose speedies definitely show a more harmonious composition

really cool speedies, maybe try some that focus mostly on color palettes, at least the ones you posted here all have similar colors, so I would just say keep painting and I'm excited to see what you come up with.
