Hey! I couldn't find answer on SketchUp page. Is a non-pro (free) version legal for commercial use? From what I've seen on page, the Pro version has only new features, which I don't find usable for concepts and illustrating and it costs half of thousand dollars.

Yes, definitely.

Yes, it's okay for commercial use.
As regards to the pro version, there really are no real benefits for the average user, however for the more Archvis user who would require exporting of 3D meshes to various other apps it's useful as the Pro version includes a range of export and import options. There is also Layout, which could be useful for presenting your models, but besides that the free version and Pro version are identical.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear a positive answer. Now I can happily use SketchUp for work :)

That's a change from the initial release, then?
I remember talking to people at Sketchup when they first released the free version (was that w/ SU 5?) and it was expressly limited to non-commercial work.
I'm glad to see it's changed!
