Hi. I have an idea in my head. I want to use movie posters for study digitally (using photoshop). Try to repaint it digitally looking at it. Then post ONLY in my Sb for comments. Is this will be plagiarism or what? Can i do such things or it is restricted? And one more question: I bought lovely book called Fantasy Artist's Figure Drawing Bible by Matt Dixon. There is linework of illustration and finished version. Can i post those i paint either? I really don't want to be banned, so i better ask. Thanks.

if it's just for study and personal advancement, go ahead. it's only illegal if you try to sell it or claim it as originally done by you.
it it was illegal, people who sit down at a museum to sketch out that sculpture would be removed by the police haha.

Yeah, no worries, I'd just make sure to cite the original sources in your post and credit the original artist (if known)

Upfront and honest, and you're all good. It's part of learning - copying stuff you like.
'Tis the people who claim it as their own original work that causes problems.
