hey, I was kind of unsure what to do, so i decided to test the waters...

most of my lines where too light for the scanner, but you get the idea. the idea that you better get your $hit in gear! :D

I decided, hey, this guy's a genius, why wouldn't he make use of this technology on himself and make himself into a tough bastard. Then, since he's lonely why wouldn't he make a few companions, hense the female android. ... that kosher?

Nice stuff st_sleek, loving the concept. Wait, am I allowed to compliment my competitor? ;) lol, I've got the design pretty laided out in my mind, but now I just need to put it on paper. Expect some stuff from me soon. :)

Tomorrow! I'll be scanning tomorrow. :) I've got a sketch of the clothing design, I think it looks quite cool. I went for a more elegent design to the character. Still havn't decided 100% on what type of thing he makes... hmmm.... back to thinking. :)

Hey st_sleek, I don't think we decided something: is the final piece going to include an enviroment around the character, or just the character? :) I've finnally figured out what my character "makes," natural disasters! (earthquakes, storms, ect.) Yay. :) The character style is changing a bit as well.

Ummm.. I don't know, but I am working on an environment sketch showing how my character's nano virus infects forests.

... it's up to you i guess. i was thinking i'd go back and make a better sketch of my character before I dove into doing the final image.

... it's all about the character really, the judges might like to see how the character will look in his environment, i don't know. i've never worked professionally or anything. i'm also a mere highschool student. ;)

Alrighty, I havn't decided yet, and although it would be cool to have an enviroment, I might not have time. But we'll see. I'm really reworking the design from what I posted. I might go for a little more of a "cutesy" style, rather than a dark serious type. But who knows. :)

Alright.. here's my dude...

After being exiled to live on a forested planet for using himself as the subject of his experimental biomechanical nanobots. Dr. 'Dude's' arms fall off to reveal veiny-metallic arms growing in their place.... he sits on a stump, smoking his pipe, without realizing that the infected stump has changed to conform to his body like a throne. (through the power of his thoughts perhaps?)

History:
Ragon, a dwarf, was exiled from his clan early in life for two reasons. First being his lack of pupils in his eye, meaning he was gifted, but thought to be of "bad luck" to the tribe. Secondly he had a desire to help the Gnomes of the land, which was clearly against what the clan believed in. So he was exiled into the woods near the great mountain range which sheltered many Trolls and Ogres. The woods were the home of many Gnomes. Ragon offered to help the Gnomes fight back the Trolls and Ogres. One should realize that the Trolls and Ogres constantly devoured the gnomes. They readily agreed. Ragon forged strong armor (of which the Gnomes found materials deep within the planet) and great weapons to combat the Trolls and Ogres. They fought and won this war. Ragon was elected leader of Gnomes.

Heh, not as good as it could've been, but hey, I'm still a newbie. ;)
