Hi

FatCow Games (Former Aerial Interactive AS) are now working on a Xbox 360 Live Arcade Game. The game revolves around the home planet of race A who has been attacked by race B. Race A is post apocalyptic where as Race B is sci-fi style. The game is based around "tanks" and focus on fun, humor, power augmentation, outpost mode, tactic, strategy, team work, pick up and play and addictiveness.
Graphic library being used is XNA.

Team Info

Currently our programmers focus is on fixing up website, databases, engine and writing a technical document.
I am one of the two main leads in charge of business, delegating, game design, level design and a lot of other things.
The second lead helps me reduce my task load.
Our 3D artist are currently improving game design document based on the art direction we would want to go. Our main artist is currently working on website design, business card and other task until a new concept artist has been chosen.

In other words we are...

2 people in charge
4 3D artists in level design, texturing, animation and modeling.
1 programmer who is doing the databases for the website, custom engine for us to use over and over, level editor and all the code.

My partner and I and the 4 Artist all have a Bachelor degree and previous experience in creating games.
The programmer has several experience in creating games and is currently doing his Bachelor.

What we need

What we need is basically a concept artist who can assist in a team enviornment and create the art work we need for reference to create unique and better models, so we can decide on the art style we want. What we are going for is cartoon touch but not too drastic. The whole team shows up on meetings on skype, follow dead lines, mile stones and contribute to the game design document which is changing slowly to something amazing.

-Update-
We also need concept artist who can draw a lush enviornment in a colorful world.

What we can give
We can give a fun yet serious game development experience worth having on your portfolio. We can teach you new things, methodology, pipelines, milestone and whatever you might need to improve your chances in surviving inside the game industry.
I can teach you what engine to use, the do's and don't. I can comfort you with the thought that as a split team we did a car game and a fighting game at University. I can tell you that I frequently talk to game developers at atomic planet, funcom, agenius interative, snowpeak, webandcircus and pandemic studio.

What you should know
We are all learning and we wish everyone who stay the whole way to be paid eventually and get hired either as freelancer or permanently onto the next project. We do not stick a knife in each other back, we back up each other in need even financially. We don't want to be yet another game company but the game company that gives you a reason to work and have fun, both at the same day. We are the new generation and the future of games. We take one step at a time as we follow our vision and goals.
