Its been quite a while since i first registered here and im what they call a lurker... its about time i start getting serious and start drawing! Im far from the standard of really anyone on this website but i am determined and head strong that one day ill be able to draw with the best of you. I honestly have found so much inspiration and knowledge from this site and thank you all for everything.
So now to my artwork, this is all of last years stuff and as you can see theres not much of it or to it for that matter. As you will be able to see i wasn't very consistant but here it goes and be expecting constant updates from me :)

Good start. I would try looking at the structure of what you are drawing and not just the contour (the outline) it will help your drawings feel a lot more solid.
Post more!

Take a black n white photo of a face or something, tape it to the paper and try to copy it as good as you can. First with line, then the tones. This helps a lot, because you have the reference and the drawing right next to each other. And draw lots!!

Thats much better!! Take an HB or B Pencil and Crosshatch the tones, try not to smudge at all. You can do this later on, but for learning to tone stuff its better not to do. This can take a lot of time but its worth it!!
In starbucks I spend around 5 to 15 minutes on each one, depending on how interesting the pose is and how long the people remain in that or a similar position.

btw watch out with the proportions. 1 thing to remember ; length from head to crotch is around 4 heads.

Painter was heck fun when I was learning it. Check the vids with Ryan Church, lots of tips. Try to look and focus on a subject matter that may interest you, it could spark the motivation. Your animal sketches I like, keep it up. and thanks for dropping by my SB btw.
