Oh that's great stuff !!! The pencil works are amazing.
The colour pieces are great too, are they digital or traditional painted?
Please post more!

sebdrew,

Thanks! I've added some info on the art, and some prelims. I'll post more in a bit :)

this post is inspiring. the amount of detail you crammed into some of these is just inhuman.

my favorite of everything is actually the preliminary work at the end. i think your style comes through even more when its simplified, as opposed to fully rendered.

Your pencils (especially on the first one) and inks are breathtaking!!

Maybe it's just me but the second image (The one with Vader) there seems to be an optical illusion going on. When I'm not looking directly at Vaders lightsaber it appears to be curved because it's competing against the curve of the doorway.

Love the work though!

Everything, EVERYTHING is great here- Love the way you like to compose a page- basic and all-telling! Excellent way to cram lots of beauty into a page.

My only two criticisms are the female jedi's pose looks a bit uncomfortable (mostly her right arm and the way her head is sitting on it)
and
PAPYRUS font for the vader page. It is an evil font and should be avoided at all costs as it cheapens everything it touches.

Keep posting please!

It happens the same to me :)

Looks wonderful, can't wait to grab it at the store :)

Hey, Doug! It's great to see these all together. Love the first one! I also really like the way you handled the water in the piece with the guy in the boat. I'm sure you know that your layout style would be fine for regular comics. Just saying.

Cheers,
chris
