Artist Needed for Graphic Novel

Hey everybody,

I have a graphic novel that a few publishers have expressed some interest in, however the artist I was working with recently had to back out for personal reasons so I need someone new. The story is a sort of superhero coming of age comedy, focusing more on the coming of age than the superhero. I'm looking for an artist with a somewhat cartoonish but earnest style to their work who can at least pencil and ink the book. The book is 120 pages (121 with cover) and though I can't afford to pay much I do have about $3,600 (maybe a little bit more depending) saved up to pay the artist upon completion of all the artwork. have you though of offering a more substencial price per page (because 29$ is very very low) to mount a demo and then see if a publisher would be interrested in paying the artist? If the artist is great, and the story has already caught their eye, it might allow you to hire a professional.
