An interesting side note: In D&D3E, where we get a plethora of Dire animals, the Dire Weasel apparently sucks blood. Seriously. It bites you and you lose constitution points every round it stays attached.

Makes me wonder if the guys at WOTC were reading the same "expert testimony" that says that Black Footed Ferrets are possessed of satanic powers and can kill chickens just by looking at them...

paperslayer : i think yours is my fave. i love the suspense in it.

bkmini: i like it, but it strikes me more as angry than evil. still, nice one. i prefer the day version, i think you should shift the hues of the whole thing into blues/purples for the night one. as it is, it doesn't strike me that much as a night setting.

rick h : cool linework. could do with something more evil about it though, maybe take out the pupil in its eye and make it a solid color + add a few more sharp and pointy bits.

valcon jet : simple, yet expressive. like it! :)
