Im having some trouble with drawing the lips right so they are missing for now. If anyone knows any tips for lips drop them in here. Anything else you notice that ive missed helps too.

For the lips (and the features in general):
Draw the planes of the large forms (muzzle, tooth cylinder in this case) before you try to resolve the smaller ones.
In most people the upper lip has three main forms, the lower lip two.

The planes around the eye look pretty good, but the irises are too small. Also, the eyes are cockeyed (don't match).

The nose could use some refining. You need to define the underplane to give it structure. Pay special attention to how the sides of the nose transition into the cheek area.

Keep at it, this is a very valuable exercise.

Must resist urge to shade. The sun went down and the light in my room blows so this is the progress for today.

hmm that looks like Hogarth style setting up...do you have his book or is that just how you start your drawings? =D

I do have that book but I havent looked at it in a while. Maybe i subconsciously absorbed that.
