Recently I discovered how much I am in love with reggae music. I was listening to Creation Steppin' Radio on itunes radio for a few hours the other day. My only compaint was it wouldn't tell me who the band was and/or the name of the song.

Sooo... anyone know of some great reggae records? (other than bob marley and the wailers. I already know about him and he is the greatest!)

aww man I love Ragga.
Especially dancehall ragga. I grew up around a heavily trinidadian/guyanese/jamaican neighborhood so ragga and calypso were always on blast. Y'know Bob and The WAilers, but nowadays I listen to mostly dancehall ragga. There's different riddims to dancehall... but as for artists i recommend:

Gregory Isaacs, Beenie Man, Yellowman, Frankie Paul, Dennis Brown, Sugar Minott, I-Roy, Sizzla, Bounty Killer, Upsetters, Sean Paul, Wayne Wonder, Tanto & Devonte, Ladysaw, and Elephant Man.

Welcome to da world of ragga ma boy boy, keep dem tracks blastin, keeps to steppin and pon de river

I'm a huge Reggae fan myself (why I put "punx" in my name when I listen to so much more than that still escapes me). F3nix listed most of the people I would mention, minus my personal favorite, Buju Banton and a close runner up, Jimmy Cliff. If you're more into the Reggae/Rock, ala Sublime, check out the Long Beach Dub Allstars, or Slightly Stoopid. If you like Hip-Hop/Rap at all, I'd recommend Mad Lion and Damian Marley; Punk you could try Bad Brains or Common Rider; R&B there's Born Jamericans or Johnny Nash....I know most of the artists I listed aren't straight up Reggae, but personally, reggae INFLUENCED music is the best music on earth in my opinion. Hope I still helped some...:D
