does painter 8 have a ellipse tool for drawing ellipses?

Hi,

To draw an elliptical selection, use the Oval Selection tool.

To draw an elliptical Shape (vector based), use the Oval Shape tool.

To make either a round selection or a round Shape, hold down the Shift key while dragging to create the selection or Shape.
