This was a really hard choice, alot of people came out and really pushed themselves this week. But like the highlander says, there can be only one! And I have to say that BKMINI is the proud winner of a wonderful set of High Tec-C Pens. The set features 3 pens, sizes .3 .4 and .5 and are extremely hard to find. Again, thanks to everyone for pushing themselves this week, and hopefully we keep on this track.

Wow guys,

I can't put into words how flattered I am to be named the winner. I am an industrial designer by trade, and I was introduced to this website by my brother, who encouraged me to start drawing this kind of stuff again and post my work by telling me that I "never draw anything cool anymore."

I'd just like to say thank you to all the people who post work here, to all the DSG'ers who inspire and encourage me (this week in particular with so many excellent submissions), and especially mtomczek for honoring me with this really cool award. You guys are really great, and I look forward to being a part of the DSG for a long time to come.

Thanks again.

Brad

bkmini, you said your an industrial designer. What school did you attend??? cause i am originally from Milwaukee myself.

December 9th, 2003, 11:25 PM
I went to University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I graduated this past May.

I am very familiar with Milwaukee. Have you ever been to the Brat Stop in Kenosha? Every time I go to Milwaukee I have to stop there on the way.

Thanks everyone for the congratulations!

Retrosolid: I'm really looking forward to Thunderdome. You had some awesome work this week.

Yea! I've been to the brat stop a bunch of times. Usually whenever we head to Six Flags we stop there to pick up lunch or something.

I have to say, the alien mount is my personal fave of yours, because of the pose and the colors.

and thanks mtom! btw, you get those pens at the stationary shop in japan town? I remember those things are usually out of stock and expensive

Good Job bkmini! You put together a real effort and strength for these submissions. Now you need to update your website with all your new 2D work! I kept going looking for your work but there was none to be found :D

Nice. Man, that demon hunter one is sweet- looks really cool the way it is - minimalistic. But I still would love to see it fully done in detail? Please? :D

Pillick, check out the actual demon hunter DSG thread, he redid it in full color with lots of details, it looks absolutely badass.

Thanks again for all the kind words everyone.

Rockhead: Thanks for checking out my site. It's about a year old, and sorely needs updating. I've really only started doing 2D stuff again just recently, but thanks to the DSG's I'm quickly gathering a body of work. When I redo the site, probably over the holidays, I will post something to let you guys know.
