Nice colors and design.

Do you have other images of it that give it a sense of scale and show other angles? Also, how is the center disc/orb held in the center? if it's gravo-magnetic I would think the broken section would make it out of balance.

Interesting... whats holding the sphere in place?

I am curious to see it at a 45 degree angle...

that was the main source of inspiration, yes.

Rob cunningham and Jon Aaron Kambeitz are our local gods.

and as for the sphere, it just stands there. i really didn't think too hard about how it does it. :/

yeah.. it be great(er) if you gave it backgroung and some little spaships or something to give scale.

hey, I was searching for Rob Cunningham in the Forum and came across this post.
I'm curious as to what you used to make this picture?
I'd love to do stuff like that but I can't quite find what it is, any help would be great, thanks.

well, scan some ink lineart into photoshop, set the layer it's on to "multiply", and then create another layer under it. color that however you want and watch as the lines don't vanish.

Nice! I loved the concept artwork for the HW series, and you've really captured their feel. Is this just a personal piece or is it for a mod or something?

Looks like a very bent horse shoe. but i love the colors and overall concept. whats the sphere in the center of the station for anyways? very nice overall. keep it up.

It kinda looks like a crwon/helmet, with that little pink thing at the bottom as a guys chin. of course he would need one huge neck to hold it up... or maybe slave girls?
