Invisible Monitor!

I was duel-monitoring up until a couple weeks ago when the other screen died on me of natural causes.

Now some of my program windows start up over there ---> and I can't figure how to move them back lol

I can reinstall but I'm wondering if there is a lazy way. My sly vent window is hiding from me. :O

hahahaahah. just go into the display settings and choose what you want to be your primary monitor make sure you turn off the extended monitor option. then click identify to make sure its monitor 1.

theres 2 ways to fix this:
go into your display properties and change it from 2 monitors to 1, even though it's not connected your display properties still recognize it as "on"

if that doesn't work, simply click and select the program on the start bar and then hold the windows icon and press the left or right arrow (depending how you had the monitors set up; i.e. if your 2nd monitor was to the left of the main monitor, you'd hit left, and visa versa)

i got all excited when i read the thread title: i was imagining they created some holographic monitor that floated the screen in front of you from some little transmitter beam on above your keyboard :)
