You know I love your work a lot already.
The bourgeois bohême and the orange village on the rock are my favorites! :)
Post some new ones now! :P

your work is great! I'm really enjoying the mountain town. The mood that you portray through your environments is fantastic. I can't wait to see more of your work!

Boy-o-boy! do I like those landscapes! The characters are strong and toughly realised but there is a real power and authority in those trees and rocks of yours. That sky in the long picture works so beautifully as a design answering the buildings and land - it is seen as a 'character', playing its part in the movement of everything.
What I really like is that is done with formal, plastic means rather than grimacing people. The character heads are given expression this way too - its the way they are built out of your marks that give them energy, not their posturing. Great stuff.
Please post more!

I really, really like these, Jens. I'd love to see just a touch more definition in some areas of the characters ( hands particularly ) so there wasn't quite such a stark contrast between the head and everything else but your marks are just gorgeous and the rock city piece is an absolute knockout. Very cool.

Really nice work! I'm probably wrong about this, but I want give some critique on your colors. I hope you don't mind! :)
The Wrestler (http://i356.photobucket.com/albums/oo6/jens_claessens/wrestler.jpg) - would the light beige colour be closer to white? Should he be sweaty? The beige just looks a bit out of place to me.
Rock City (http://i356.photobucket.com/albums/oo6/jens_claessens/rockcity.jpg) - If it's orange light that's hitting it, and it's coming from say, a sunset, shouldn't the clouds also be an orange tone? What makes the town look orange?
I hope this helps. :)
