Hullo fellow CA ers ...this is the start of my new sketchbook.. seem to have misplaced the old one due to my lazy ass not updating often...

i work as a 3d modeler but i have always been interested in concept art and illustration..these are my attempts to improve myself in those areas..thanks for looking and do C& C :)

Lookin good, they're some pretty solid studies, I particularly like the lifedrawings.
I'd love to see some of your 3d models, any chance you could post some up on here. :D

Heres a small update..tried digging out some 3d stuff...im kinda new to mudbox and zbrush as we dont use it in out production pipeline at work (we're like one of those indian companies who mostly work on kid's shows for the U.S ...bleh..) ..i hope to dive into zbrush soon...went with mudbox first cuz the interface in zbrush drove me crazy...gah..

Very interesting stuff you got here. I'm not a 3D Artist so I can't critique you there. But, concerning the guy with the right shoulder pad, His face seems a tad short. But Good work keep it up! :)

been busy for sometime , i thought id stop by and update this thread
i've been working on a challenge for cgtantra (http://www.cgtantra.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18812) , the topic was "superhero gone bad " i chose to do hellboy :) ,anyways ended up being the runner up which was pretty cool...the final was rendered in zbrush with some post done in photoshop.


And a random study thrown in...been trying to go back to basics and draw more constructively..one of my weaknesses being not able to project enough depth ..
