www.getdropbox.com (https://www.getdropbox.com/screencast#screencast)

Free. You no longer need to carry your images. Once edited, it syncs automatically back to your pc at home. Backup all online.

So wait, does dropbox save all your stuff on the web? So even if I don't have anyone to share my pictures with, I could put them there in case my HD crashes?

You can also buy a USB key, or an external hard drive. They're not so expensive. Even SD cards go up to like 4 gigs nowadays and they're cheaper every day.

If you were really stuck, you could just email them to yourself.

Even a basic free Hotmail has 5 gigs storage these days.

Yep it does! But I think currently in Beta you can only store up to 2GB with them, they will probbably offer more storage once they go full final.

You can useJungle Disk (http://www.jungledisk.com/) to backup/store/archive large amounts of data (cheapest/easiest place I've found out of mozzy, carbonite and etc).

- pardon the little topic derailment :)
