View Full Version : natural pen and ink lines ?

hey,
any thoughts on brush settings / tablet settings to get pen and ink type lines in PS ?
been trying all evening, i want to approximate the quality of line Gez Fry gets, real natural looking, but all done in photoshop apparently

take a look to see what i mean.

Those are for pencils anyways. Inking is more just a matter of adjusting the hardness brush properties and so forth.

Pretty sure he uses Illustrator or used, but you're better off investing in another software than Photoshop to do ink lines.

thanks guys.. i think i finally got sorta what i was after. just setting roundness control to pen pressure seemed to do, had a bigger effect than tip size.
