I've noticed a bunch of people with personal websites who use the same sorta gallery viewer we've got up at the top. I'm thinking of starting up a proper website with my stuff on it - can I find that viewer thing free somewhere? Or something similar?
If I can get my hands on it, seems like it'll be a bit snazzier than plain ol' HTML.

It's called lightbox (or lightbox2) some ppl swear by it, others swear because of it. So it depends on your intent.

That feature I find to be okay, but I didn't want to use it on my website for two reasons.
1) I find it to be an increasingly overused/unneeded feature.
2) It doesn't seem to have room to place artist's comments.
I felt that putting artist's comments on each piece would allow viewers to see that the artist is also human, sometimes humble, and can even see mistakes in their own work. Sure, it's more work having to fix each page, one by one, but it's worth it in my view.
But if you really do want the feature, it's available as a free javascript. Just google it. But I'd be careful for which site you get the script from. And I'd make sure you know your coding well.
