Some baby spiders. I used a Powershot G1 with a magnifying lens (those you look at film/negatives on a lightboard with) as 'macro'. Kinda B but it works, but there's usually more chromatic abberation or whatever it's called. The edges get blury too, but that's okay on these pics because it centers the focus point.

krispee: I didn't have any problems getting close to the birds because they didn't do anything to/wasn't able to get away, I could easily have abused them more as photo models but didn't want to disturb them and their parents too much.

Would be nice to have a better zoom so it was easier to take photos of animals and stuff without the need to get so close.

Another animal to go with the text:

Hi there every one, hope that there are someone who still remembers me.
It has been a very long time since the last time I have posted anything for this thread.
So here us something that I wanted to picture and show it to you since a very long time also but never got the chance to fulfil my wish.
this was an ice factory that got burned couple of months ago. I am lucky to get these pictures 2 days ago, because now some of water tower shown is being demolished as I write this reply, and may be even the free standing wall as well.

Hope you like these pictures... :mohawk:

Well well Mr.Samna...u've finally took the pics u were dreaming of!!! So, let's see...they're good...but i like the 1st one best: i liked the light & dark idea, the light from behind the grills...it's really good...As for the2nd & 4th, i think they could be a bit better if u could give a shadowy effect or with less light, to make them look older...That's it...so, keep it up kid!! :oP

Im going to attempt to reply without coming off cheesy, but I just went through this entire thread, and all of the photography is so great and verry inspiring, I just wanted to say thanks to all for sharing. When drawing sometimes (like today...) I run blank on ideas, and seeing all of this great photography gets me refreshed again...so anyway, I will be back often. I love all!
