Shirt Design

Created through Illustrator, just curious to see what you guys though. It's supposed to be a shirt design, and instead of going the typical route of slapping a big ass logo or what not, to create something fictional.

Just a small note, the jpeg format tore it apart as far as quality goes, so I do apoligize for the low-res. image

a clean and nice design. however i do think it may lack some focus point, or some real point of interest. perhaps a backgroundcolor that would make the blue stand out a bit more? Or maybe some more highlights defining those eggsplats.

i would make the wheels more cylindrical instead of the round shape u have. perhaps i would add a simple white highlight to the window. and pop on an exhaust pipe. devide the rearlights horisontal .... but wery nice indeed.

I think some or all of the eggs should stand out more, I did not notice them right away, but it is somewhat integral to the image...

Something to keep in mind is a tshirt design must be INSTANTLY 'decipherable' (for lack of a better term) - most people will see it only passing it at a walking rate if they notice it at all :) Yours is good, I just think you should make it more obvious the car has egg on its.. face :)

(my first job was a tshirt designer at a screen printers btw :D)

EDIT: maybe to clarify a little, I originally read the eggs as a distressed texture rather than something on the car. Try making them slightly larger and bright white, and possibly using a flat shaded shape for the egg white rather than the more graded splattered texture look. Also, it seems the don't quite follow the car body's contours exactly, might want to check that.

All good points being made, and I've taken them into consideration. Still working on it, but here's a update on it. Let me know if the focal point is stronger now, thanks.

One more time, latest update.

* Fixed the frame around the image, so now it matches the inner-frames.

*Eggs actually look more like eggs and not like paint ball marks.

* Created more egg shells to go around where egg exsists on the car

* Changed the "TAB" logo and made it more like a tab key.
- Note: the placement of the logo will be moved elsewhere for the final version.

* Created a egg carton which will be placed either on the sleeve or upper-back area, more to where the neck is at.

* Border where background switches from blue to white is now equally spaced out, to where before the white was a mere line.

Changes I plan to make...

* Make the tires appear more like tires and not as rings

* Will fix the tires next and I might call this one done.
