Similar Brushes???

I am totally in love with the new Prince of Persia artwork.
The painterly style and texture of the art seem just so awesome to me,so i was wondering would anyone have brushes that are similar to the styles used by the artists?

What brushes this artist uses is a matter of very little importance in comparison to how he uses them.
Some people, not necessarily you, seem to think that because its all digital, elegance of movement and deftness contribute less to the beauty of the brushwork
than the originality of the custom brushes used.
I for one thoroughly disagree although i understand that its a very comfortable opinion to adopt.
Indeed deftness and elegance imply a certain level of confidence with one's draughtsmanship and if theres one thing people enquiring about brushes,
definitely dont want to hear, it is:
"learn to draw before you care about brushes!" => Its just no fun!
Yet it is very sensible, theres no way around skill.

Back on topic, i would say that that this Prince of Persia artist doesnt use very fancy brushes, some of them i can even recognise...
If you own Photoshop spend as much time as it takes on experimenting with the brush tool settings until you can almost reproduce a brush only by looking at the brushtrokes the artist left.
Heres a high res of the PoP hero (http://www.ownage.nl/images/content/44370.jpg), Amir if im not mistaken.
As you can see most of it is done with a textured rake-style brush with the angle jitter set to pressure sensitivity.
All the rest is drawing, value, colour/light theory and composition.

Yep. I agree with S.M.

Painterly style is a matter of the brush strokes, not the brushes.

You can give that artist any tool, from charcoal to wooden stick dipped in ink and he'll sketch the same character with equally good result. It's not special trick or special tool. Just the artist.

Yea i totally agree with you S.M., in fact I've been playing around with my brushes a lot lately and experimenting. Unfortunately i still can't find that rake brush that was in the vid (Which i really wanted cause i liked the effect) and my knowledge of making such a brush is very limited.
In case you wanted to see my experiment on brush working here it is, btw tell me what you think (besides the hand, already know what I did wrong XP):
