Hello!
I'm excited to get started on my sketchbook thread--I mainly work in traditional media--ink and Copic markers. Recently I've been doing a lot of sketch cards (2.5x3.5 inch trading cards), both licensed and commissions.
Current areas of focus for me are figure work/anatomy, hands, color. Please help me get better!

Sue Richards needs improvement in the waistline by a smidge, but that's just me. I like your takes on Two-Face and Dr. Manhattan, though.

Thank you! How would you change it up? Drop the angle lower? I'm all for help :)

You have some definite strengths and weaknesses, and a sweet style going (plus I can't dislike anyone who draws Hellboy). Strong colors for marker (I assume), but if I could tell you one thing, I'd say you should improve on torsos. Hellboys is almost pirfect, although his pecs are bit too rounded imho. Sue's torso needs to come in more at the waist- the waist-to-hip transition is much more dramatic that you have it there. And her waist is currently the size of her ribcage: that is considered out of normal proportion, but it's not major. Oh, and I'd consider giving Dr. Manhatten bigger calves. He has the meatiest thighs known to mankind, but no calves to support them XD.
That all being said, definitely diggin' the clean inks and nice colors- I wish I could handle markers like you ;) Also Hellboy's right hand of doom is just awesome..I don't even know why. It just is. Looks so 3D. Well done.

Thanks for commenting! I agree about HB's chest--he's also too skinny--he is like a younger, more athletic demon. I'll be uploading quite a few figure studies in the next week--hopefully I will be getting more on track in the torso department.
Funny thing about the markers, I only used them for about a year--Before that, I never used any color. I still have a long ways to go to understanding color theory...

you did a great job coloring these. your line work and anatomy could use some perfecting/advancing.
