Yay, okay, i've always wanted to make one of these posts so that i'd have a reason to draw more often so I can get better and now ive finally made it. Currently my scanner is broken :mad: so its gonna be a digital daily sketchbook until I figure out how to make it work again.

Also, critiques are VERY much welcome because I know I have alot of problems (ahem..noses, hands) and need help with them, so..help :(

Just some doodles. Most are drawn from references I got from corbis.com, except for the face in the lower right corner.

P.S. Anyone think the digital sketchbook idea is stupid and I shouldnt bother until I can show traditional work? Cause I dont think ive ever seen anyone do a digital one before (though eventually its gonna be traditional once I resurrect my scanner)

P.P.S Anyone know a free image host that has more bandwidth than geocities?

My sketchbook is 70% digital and no one has complained. Go for it.

Yup, its in OC though sometimes I use photoshop or painter. Whichever I feel like and thx OLSEN ill have to check out your sketchbook too :D

Nice work.....I do like that one thats a lady in a chair. digital eh....what program are you using to draw??

I think that I might have to switch to digital sketchbook as well I can't take very good pics of the paper sketchbook I have.

i like the lady in the chair too, it really looks like she is slouching right down in the seat. and since it's digital you could scale it up and give her a face and some warm light :-)
i'd like to see it on a sketch book page of its own..

as for image hostings, i'm not sure of the bandwidth of geocities, but i found one the other day, free250.com gives 250M of storage and i think.... 250M bandwidth too, worth a look.

Well, before I went to class I wanted to do something so I did some blind contours since ive never tried it before and heres what I came up with...

Most are from looking in my high school spanish book that I forgot to return when the year was over...hahaha, oh well, and the one in the upper left is just a regular face I thought of when I closed my eyes and did it.

Now, off to class for me.
