Hello.
My name is Zachary James, and I'm currently 15 years young. I've been drawing since I was no more then three or four years old, but only now have decided to take it seriously as I plan on becoming a concept artist as my career choice. I'm really nervious to post here, as I have been lurking around here for a few years now and noticed such well done stuff. Hopefully this will allow me to grow as an artist by posting.. Hope to post daily, but I wouldn't hold my breath as I have tons of homework to be delt with first.
I'll get on with posting now..
First one is inspired by verehin's work.. Still remains unfinished..

Unfinished, but I gave up on it..

Sweet drawings, man. There's something about the way you shade that really does it for me, haha... I dunno, it's precise but in a soft way haha :dur:

Shading and hand studies are neat - should probably do this too ... wait you're only 15? Why when I was your age I was still busy scribbling boobs on toilet walls :dur:
Keep on drawing and posting!

Wow, not bad for 15!
Just keep working a little (or a lot when you can) every day and you'll be up on the header with the rest of the amazing artists here in no time.
Which books are you studying from if any?

Keeviin - Ha, thanks. I'll be sure to check out your sketchbook in a momment.
Helioth - That is very incouraging! :) Thanks for your comments.. I'm not studying any books at the momment. I didn't use reference for the big guy with the tree on his back, nor the body shape of the demon thing, but I should start studying. Prepare to see a whole lot of anatomy practices in the next few posts! ;) The hands were of my left hand by the way.

Isn't she hot?
Used no reference, which explains the some-what horrible anatomy.. :P I was more focused on the torso and head, as you can see the hands and legs, like most of my work, are not fully completed.
My main idea was to have that whole and hands sticking out trying to free themselves, but never really got it and rather just gave up.

All looks good so far, we're the same age but it seems you seem to be way ahead on the start. Urrm it's pretty early to tell how you're doing at the moment since you haven't posted much, make sure you do lots of anatomy studies and life drawings and such. Take care and keep it up :)

And thanks guys, so happy your checking my book out. Just a noob question: How do I create a thumbnail? I know I have to attach the images, but I don't know how is all. :P Sorry, and thanks.
