Hi Everyone

I am new here and want to share my Art with you

Im 26 and come from mGermany

I have been Painting Abstract Stuff for years now first with a german Programm then since November with Gimp. Lately i have been inspired by Bob Ross and other Landscapes so i have started to do Landscapes to. I mostly try to express the Spirit or the soul of Nature because i love Nature.

what might sound bizarre is that i cant see very Good thatswhy my Pictures are mabe a bitt hazy but i dont see it allthough that doesnt have to be.

Hope you like my Pictures and i am allways Open for Critique.

Greetings Lhiya

Welcome to CA, I have to say you have an interesting style. The top one look pretty good, like something very powerful is about to happen. Well the only critique I have would be to try and experiment with a wider range of colors, I noticed the last couple are quite similar. Unless its part of a theme. Keep up with it and keep posting.

hmm, don't do abstract because you can make prettier stuff that way than if you are painting proper subjects. if you are going to do abstract put more thought into it.

Keep up the painting, but try and push yourself with your weak points.

Great to see sb using open software! I thing gimp is really powerful when youre into it.
If you want to really get into art, then draw more with a pencil. Also Landscapes. You have to work from reference a while so you can improve your visual library, just know how stuff really looks like, how light reacts when hitting grass and so on. You can do quick color studies like these (http://conceptart.org/forums/showpost.php?p=1723525&postcount=362).

cheers

thanks for the post on my work. I would suggest working more with lines and brushstrokes. try to be really detailed and push yourself, even when you think there is nothing else to do to a painting, add more and dont be afraid to experiment.
